GST collections in October grossed Rs 1.87 lakh crore, reflecting an 8.9% year-on-year increase. From January to October 2024, collections rose to Rs 12.74 lakh crore. April 2024 saw record collections of Rs 2.1 lakh crore. The overall fiscal year 2023-24 collections experienced an 11.7% rise, suggesting strong domestic consumption and import activity.
