Although Donald Trump won the US Presidential elections, the formal election process will take several weeks. Electors, chosen based on popular vote in each state, will cast their votes on December 17. These votes will be counted on January 6, 2025, and the result will be declared by Vice President Kamala Harris, in her role as President of the Senate.
