Following India’s Test series loss to New Zealand, the BCCI is revitalizing its ‘A’ program to strengthen the team’s bench strength. Headed by VVS Laxman, the program aims to provide greater exposure to emerging players. However, financial constraints pose a challenge as other cricket boards are hesitant to cover the expenses of hosting India’s ‘A’ team tours.
