Protests erupted on Nov. 15 in Quito against President Noboa’s government, sparked by blackouts, rising crime, and the ongoing economic crisis. The demonstration, one of the most intense in the capital, saw clashes between protesters and security forces, with burning tires and tear gas used. Protesters, including students and activists, chanted slogans like “Out, Noboa, out!” After three hours, the protest was dispersed, but trade unions and organizations vowed further demonstrations against the government.
