BJP candidate Kumar Ailani secured a decisive victory in the Ulhasnagar assembly seat, defeating Omie Kalani, son of former strongman Pappu Kalani. This win follows Ailani’s previous victories against Pappu Kalani and his wife, Jyoti Kalani, in 2009 and 2019 respectively.
