The second day of the Indian Premier League auction concluded with an accelerated process after the first 116 players in the pool were presented. Franchises spent a total of INR 467.95 crore on the first day, with Rishabh Pant fetching the highest bid of INR 27 crore. A total of 84 players were presented on Day 1, with 68 sold and four retained through Right-to-Match cards.
