An engine combustion test for Japan’s Epsilon S rocket was suspended after a fire erupted at the Tanegashima Space Center. The incident is under investigation. The Epsilon S, a next-generation small rocket, was scheduled for its debut flight by March but has faced previous delays, including an engine test failure 16 months ago.
