Over 5.59 lakh candidates are set to appear for 4,002 police constable vacancies in Jammu and Kashmir starting December 1. Exams will be conducted on three different dates with various measures in place to ensure transparency. Disqualified aspirants protested, demanding age relaxation and rescheduling. Another recruitment drive for 669 sub-inspector posts begins December 3.
