Police in Punjab and Haryana have increased security on both sides of the Shambhu border ahead of Friday’s farmers’ march to Delhi, despite the fact that a sizable crowd of demonstrators has assembled at the location on NH 44.Three levels of barricading were installed by the Haryana police on Thursday morning in the direction of the Punjab side. A tent was set up, along with wire mesh and wheeled traffic obstacles.
