UP: Man burns father alive with girlfriend’s help over property dispute

In Lucknow, a 26-year-old man, Dharmesh Rawat, and his 24-year-old girlfriend, Sangeeta, were arrested for the murder of Dharmesh’s father, Ramu Rawat. Dharmesh, motivated by a property dispute, pushed his father into a borewell and set him on fire. The incident occurred on the family’s farmland after Ramu refused to transfer the property to his son and Sangeeta.
