Magnitude 7.4 Earthquake Strikes Near Vanuatu Capital

A 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck Vanuatu’s capital Port Vila on Tuesday (December 17), damaging buildings and cars, with at least one person reported killed.Footage from Vanuatu state broadcaster VBTC showed vehicles crushed under a building that collapse on a street lined with retailers.
