Authorities initiated anti-encroachment and anti-power theft drives, particularly in minority-dominated areas, after a mosque survey sparked violence. A sealed well near the mosque is now under excavation, adding to the ongoing investigation and restoration efforts surrounding the temple’s rediscovery.
