US President-elect Donald Trump has requested the Supreme Court to delay legislation that would ban TikTok unless its Chinese parent company ByteDance sells it. President Trump previously opposed TikTok due to national security concerns but has since reconsidered, indicating he supports TikTok for competitive reasons. His successor Joe Biden also supports the prohibition.
