White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that tariffs on Canada and Mexico will begin on February 1, as decided earlier dismissing reports that claimed the tariffs will be deferred to March 1. Leavitt also reacted to Justin Trudeau’s latest statement on counter-tariff on US products and said he should directly speak to Trump before making ‘outlandish’ comments.
