Lieutenant General Alexus Grynkewich, Joint Staff Director for Operations, confirmed that the US began precision strikes against the Houthis on March 15, shortly after 1 p.m. Eastern Time, under the direction of the president. The initial wave targeted over 30 sites, including terrorist training camps, UAV infrastructure, weapons manufacturing and storage facilities, and command centers, including a compound housing senior Houthi drone experts. Strike operations continued on Sunday, hitting additional headquarters, weapons depots, and detection systems used to threaten maritime shipping.
