Lieutenant General Alexus Grynkewich, Joint Staff Director for Operations, confirmed that the US began precision strikes against the Houthis on March 15, shortly after 1 p.m. Eastern Time, under the direction of the president. The initial wave targeted over 30 sites, including terrorist training camps, UAV infrastructure, weapons manufacturing and storage facilities, and command centers, including a compound housing senior Houthi drone experts. Strike operations continued on Sunday, hitting additional headquarters, weapons depots, and detection systems used to threaten maritime shipping. Grynkewich stated that the operation will persist until the president’s objectives are met. n18oc_world n18oc_crux
