The AAP government in Punjab plans to conduct its first-ever census to gather data on drug addiction, de-addiction centres, and the socio-economic status of affected individuals. In the ‘Badalda Punjab Budget,’ the government aims to enhance health insurance coverage and combat cross-border drug smuggling, with a projected debt of almost Rs 4.2 lakh crore.
