Suryadev, a man from Lingapur mandal, married two women, Kanaka Lal and Atram Jalkar Devi, in a single ceremony following tribal customs. Village elders witnessed the event, which took place in Kumurambheem Asifabad district. Nearly 1,000 people from nearby villages attended the wedding. Suryadev signed a bond to pledge equal care for both brides.
