More than 200 protests were scheduled to take place on March 29 in what organizers are calling a global day of action, part of a campaign called “Tesla Takedown.” Protesters are also targeting Tesla because they believe its CEO Elon Musk is using the wealth he built from the company to fund political actions they view as a threat to democracy. The plan for a day of mass demonstrations follows a series of violent incidents. Anti-Musk activists have been accused of throwing Molotov cocktails at Tesla facilities in Colorado, Nevada and Oregon and defacing Tesla vehicles there. . . n18oc_crux
