Hamas has accepted a fresh Gaza ceasefire proposal mediated by Egypt and Qatar, urging Israeli support but refusing to negotiate on their armaments. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu acknowledged the proposal and responded with a counter-proposal in coordination with the US. Negotiations continue as hostilities persist.
