A Chinese construction company is being investigated after a Bangkok skyscraper collapsed during a 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar, killing at least 17 people and trapping dozens. Engineers had previously raised concerns about the building’s structural integrity, citing rapid construction and inadequate materials.
