Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav criticized Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami’s announcement to rename 11 places across four districts. Dhami justified the renaming as honoring Indian culture and great personalities. The changes include names in Haridwar, Dehradun, Nainital, and Udham Singh Nagar. The Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple’s Acharya Dr. Vipin Joshi praised the move as aligning with Sanatan culture.
