Lucknow Super Giants owner Sanjiv Goenka encouraged his team to regroup after their eight-wicket loss to Punjab Kings in the 2025 IPL. Despite a strong partnership from Nicholas Pooran and Ayush Badoni, LSG only posted 171/7. Punjab Kings chased comfortably, led by Prabhsimran Singh’s 69 and Shreyas Iyer’s 50*. Punjab is now second, while LSG is sixth.
