Amazon is forcing thousands of corporate employees to relocate to major hubs like Seattle, Arlington, and Washington DC. Employees receive 30 days to decide and 60 days to relocate or resign without severance. The mandate coincides with CEO Andy Jassy’s warning that AI will shrink Amazon’s workforce, potentially prompting voluntary departures as a cost-cutting measure.
