The temple town of Ayodhya has been decked up for the eight edition of the mega deepotsav scheduled to be held on Wednesday. The Uttar Pradesh government said it aims to create a new world record this Diwali by lighting over 2.5 million diyas along the banks of the Saryu river and over 3.5 million diyas across the city on November 30, while special eco-friendly lamps will illuminate the Ram Janmabhoomi temple.
