The Mahayuti government in Maharashtra is set to bring a law against “Love Jihad” cases in the state.The state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, has formed a seven-member committee under the Director General of Police (DGP). The committee will examine the legal and technical aspects related to instances of “Love Jihad” (euphemism for interfaith relationships) and prepare a comprehensive report, which will then be submitted to the state government for further action.
