John Kirby, a senior White House official, has confirmed that Ukraine is allowed to use Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) to fire at targets inside Russia”Right now, they are able to use ATACMS to defend themselves on an immediate need basis”, Kirby told reporters on Nov. 25.He added that Ukraine is allowed to use the American-supplied long-range missile to fire at targets in the western Russian region of Kursk.Kirby also said the US had provided the Ukrainian armed forces with instructions on selecting targets for ATACMS strikes.
