Air chief marshal A P Singh takes charge as new chief of air staff

Air chief marshal Amar Preet Singh, with over 5,000 flying hours, assumed charge as the new Indian Air Force chief, succeeding Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari. With nearly 40 years of distinguished service, Singh’s notable roles include commanding a fighter squadron, leading the MiG-29 upgrade project, and flight testing the LCA Tejas.
