Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran expressed grief over the Air India AI-171 crash in Ahmedabad, which resulted in over 270 fatalities. He announced the creation of an “AI-171 Trust” to provide long-term support to affected families. Investigations into the cause of the crash are underway, with preliminary findings expected in a month, while Air India is cooperating fully with authorities.
