India’s ministry of external affairs condemned Canada’s designation of India as a cyber adversary and the allegations of Indian involvement in actions against Sikh separatists. The MEA pointed to a systematic attempt by Canadian officials to damage India’s reputation, suggesting unfounded claims of state-sponsored cyber surveillance by India targeting Canada.
