Education authorities have held a government school in Bareilly accountable for denying a sanitary pad to a Class 11 student during her examination. Despite waiting for over an hour, the student was sent home bleeding through her clothes when the principal didn’t provide the necessary menstrual hygiene support. An inquiry confirmed the school’s negligence.
