Despite a complete ban on firecrackers in Delhi, numerous incidents of burns from firecrackers and related materials were reported across multiple hospitals. AIIMS treated 48 burn patients, Safdarjung Hospital saw 117 cases, and Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital documented 44 injuries. Many injuries were severe, involving ICU admissions, surgeries, and affecting children.
