A bus carrying passengers plunged into a 200m deep gorge in Almora, India, resulting in 36 fatalities, including parents of a three-year-old girl who survived. The injured child, with severe injuries, was airlifted to a specialized hospital for critical care. The accident has left the region in mourning as authorities conduct post-mortems and provide support to the bereaved families.
