In a shocking development, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has conducted searches at the residences of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in Raipur and Bhilai. The raids are linked to the alleged ₹6,000 crore Mahadev app scam, in which Baghel has been accused of cheating, criminal conspiracy, breach of trust, and forgery. The CBI teams reached Baghel’s residences, the houses of a senior police officer and a close associate of the former CM. The agency has taken over the investigation from the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Chhattisgarh Police ¹.Baghel has termed the EOW FIR “politically motivated” and has questioned the timing of the CBI raids, which coincided with his scheduled trip to Delhi for a meeting of the Drafting Committee for the All India Congress Committee (AICC) [2). n18oc_breaking-news News18 Mobile App – https://onelink.to/desc-youtube
