Charlie Javice, founder of student-finance startup Frank, has been convicted of defrauding JPMorgan Chase in connection with the bank’s $175 million acquisition of her company. A Manhattan federal jury found Javice guilty of bank fraud for falsely inflating Frank’s user base to secure the deal.
