Divya Ramkumar, 31, was arrested for slitting the throats of her two children, resulting in the death of her 18-month-old son while her four and half-year-old son survived. The incident followed a fight at her parents’ house in Pullapuram. The surviving child was sent to Divya’s husband, Ramkumar, after being discharged from the hospital.
