A judge has ruled in favor of Google in a lawsuit alleging the company profited from Google Play gift card scams. Plaintiff Judy May, who lost $1,000 in a scam, argued Google should refund victims and warn about such scams. The judge ruled May failed to prove Google caused her losses or knowingly accepted stolen funds.
