Home minister Amit Shah has asserted that the Modi govt, in its 11 years, has ensured unprecedented development and managed to swing the country’s mood from despair to optimism through a series of policy and welfare measures. In a 90-minute conversation. with TOI, Shah said the all-pervasive mood over corruption and stagnation, insecurity on both external and internal fronts, and apprehension among the youth formed the legacy UPA bequeathed to the Modi govt in 2014. “I consider the renewal of hope and confidence about the country’s future a significant achievement,” he added
