On the IPL 2025 retention deadline, several prominent players, including Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul and Jos Buttler, were released by their teams. While Pant’s departure from Delhi Capitals is the most surprising, other notable omissions include Arshdeep Singh, Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer. These players now move to the auction pool.
