Reza Valizadeh, an Iranian-American journalist formerly with Radio Farda, has been detained in Iran for months. The US State Department confirmed his arrest amid tensions marking the 45th anniversary of the American Embassy takeover. Valizadeh, held in Evin prison, faces proceedings in Iran’s Revolutionary Court, known for its secretive process. The US is seeking more information through Swiss partners.
