Salwan Momika, an Iraqi refugee involved in Quran-burning protests in Sweden, was shot dead on Wednesday night. Momika faced hate crime charges and had his Swedish residency permit revoked after controversial demonstrations. Five individuals have been detained by the police. The court postponed its ruling due to the defendant’s death. The incident is under investigation by Swedish authorities.
