A three-year-old leopard was killed by a speeding vehicle on the Delhi-Meerut expressway near the Kashi toll plaza. The incident occurred around 10pm on Thursday. The leopard’s carcass was retrieved for a post-mortem, confirming ‘impact hit’ as the cause of death. Authorities have registered a case under the Forest Act while investigating how the leopard reached the elevated road.
