A 62-year-old sub-inspector, Subhash Singh, died after suffering a heart attack in Bareilly, Raisen. Singh was riding his bike after refueling at a petrol pump when he collapsed. Passersby and petrol pump employees alerted the authorities. Police arrived and took him to a hospital. Doctors declared him dead upon arrival. Singh was two months away from retirement.
