Mob thrashes nurses, ransacks hospital after heart patient’s death in West Bengal

Three nurses were injured at Vidyasagar State General Hospital in Kolkata after a mob of around 100 people, angered by the death of a patient, went on a rampage. The mob, alleging negligence, vandalized hospital property and demanded an explanation for the death. Police arrested nine people in connection with the violence.
