A tragic incident occurred in Eluru town when an explosion of firecrackers on a scooty claimed one life and injured six others. Durgasi Sudhakar died instantly after the vehicle hit a speed breaker, causing the firecrackers to explode. The injured, including those standing roadside, were swiftly admitted to the local hospital for treatment.
