Eighteen paramilitary personnel were killed and three others seriously wounded in an ambush in Balochistan, Pakistan. Heavily armed assailants intercepted a vehicle carrying unarmed Frontier Corps personnel near Mangochar. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but recent months have seen a surge in violence, with the Balochistan Liberation Army frequently targeting security forces and civilians.
