Prime Minister Modi congratulated Bangladesh on their National Day, emphasizing the importance of mutual sensitivity to each other’s interests. This comes ahead of their meeting at the Bimstec summit. External affairs minister S Jaishankar hinted a bilateral meeting during the summit is under consideration. President Murmu also echoed the commitment to strong, multifaceted relations with Bangladesh.
