Viacom18 and Star India have merged to create India’s largest media and entertainment company, valued at over Rs 70,000 crore. The joint venture, backed by Reliance Industries and Disney, will offer a vast library of content across television and digital platforms, including popular channels like Star, Colors, JioCinema, and Hotstar.
