Rohit Sharma has been retained by Mumbai Indians along with Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, and Tilak Varma ahead of the upcoming IPL auction. Following a disappointing 2024 season, Rohit is optimistic about the franchise building a strong team for the 2025 edition. Having retired from international T20s, he feels staying with Mumbai Indians is ideal for him.
