Sanju Samson has approached the BCCI Centre of Excellence for full clearance to resume wicket-keeping duties following surgery on his index finger. With partial clearance, he played merely as a batter while Riyan Parag captained Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025. A positive evaluation can reinstate Samson’s captaincy. Rajasthan Royals’ upcoming schedule includes an away clash against Punjab Kings on April 5, followed by a fixture against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad on April 9.
