Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee accused Union minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan of favoring the wealthy and denying West Bengal’s central funds for schemes like MGNREGA. Banerjee suggested this was because the BJP failed to form a government in the state. BJP countered this, demanding an apology and insisting there’s no discrimination against states.
